Theater 313 is not limited to the actors on the stage or the production team. We are an all-encompassing ministry comprised solely of volunteers. We welcome anyone who can work well with a team in a high-intensity, detail-oriented environment. Whether you are a seasoned professional, a newbie, renewing a passion you thought was gone, or love theater, we all work together toward a common goal.
What are our volunteer expectations?
- To be available for all the performances and rehearsals. Except in emergencies, all rehearsal conflicts must be clearly stated when submitting this signed agreement.
- To memorize and prepare the participant’s role as required by the director.
- To provide appropriate footwear, costumes (when applicable), and makeup as requested by the director, choreographer, or costume designer.
- All volunteers are subject to background checks.
- To renounce all legal and financial claims to the production.
- To keep the production details confidential, unless by permission. Any media inquiries must go through the CEO.
- All concerns and negative criticisms must be addressed to a Team Leader or the Director.
- To treat all people respectfully and free of discrimination, harassment (including sexual harassment), bullying, or unbecoming or unlawful conduct.
- To acknowledge that Theater 313 recognizes that it represents Jesus Christ. Please do so in a respectful manner, both publicly and on social media.
- To understand that Theater 313 is committed to creating an environment where everyone (including its employees, contractors, vendors, volunteers, patrons, and anyone conducting business) is respected and honored. As a result, sexual harassment, discrimination, bullying, unwanted advances, pranks, retaliation, negative or derogatory comments, or any such behavior will absolutely not be tolerated by Theater 313.
Art Team
If you enjoy creating immersive worlds that bring stories to life for all audiences, the Art Team is the place for you! Artists, painters, sculptors, builders, carpenters, and designers, we welcome you.
Backstage Crew Members are the backbone of productions! Without them, actors have no place to sit and no cup to drink from. The pace is quick, the changes are choreographed, and the results are satisfying.

An actor cannot be seen or heard with out the talents of the Technical Team. Sound Engineers, Light Designers, and Videographers we need you!

Start spreadin’ the news! We won’t go very far without our Communications Team. Marketing, advertising, social media, radio, commercials, video, and photography are all but a few avenues of what’s needed to share the latest and greatest of Theater 313.
You may not have a gift in artistic creativity but everyone has gifts! From the organizational directions of the Parking Team to the smiling faces of our Greet / Seat Team, everyone has a place in the Theater 313 family!
